The next to go from FM is their Belgian style triple. Although I'm not a particular fan of Belgian beers and Belgian style beers, I take this in the interest of completeness. You never know when something is going to surprise you. This triple is a nice orange color, looking like a relatively light drink, with a fluffy white head. The foam doesn't stick around too long, though. There's a hint of banana in there, which feels very Belgian to me. The flavor follows the recipe, with a hit of sour and wheat, although it's not as stinging as some "authentic" Belgians. There's a nice softness to the end of the sip, with a little vanilla and toast. It's still spicy, a real kicker, like many a Belgian style. I prefer it to many others, being a little bit sweeter than sour, but it's also an invigorating drink. Where some beers get heavy and sticky with any hint of sweet, FM's triple is light and smooth, easy-drinking. There have been quite a few Belgian influenced brews in the past at this brew pub, and this one might be the most standard. It's a good non-aggressive choice, pleasant for a variety of palates.
